Course overview
This course will offer a thematic exploration of the life of the Prophet Muhammad (p), examining key moments and challenges through a critical and contemporary lens. The course focuses on major themes in the Seerah to better understand the nature of prophethood, the Quraysh's epistemic opposition, the Prophet’s (p) endurance under oppression, the context and ethics of his military engagements, and the wisdom behind his marriages. The course also reflects on how these themes offer insight and guidance in navigating modern challenges to Islam, from ideological critiques to moral accusations. By drawing connections between the historical Seerah and today’s world, participants will gain a deeper appreciation for the relevance of the Prophet’s (p) life in defending and living Islam in the 21st century.
